drop your shoulders is an independent film production outfit out of the Boston/Providence metro area; they commissioned a logo from me back in 2021.

Their latest, "Something Beautiful in the Daylight", won Best Screenwriter for a Short Film at the New Bedford Film Festival; the trailer can be seen here:

For the logo, the guidance given was "something soft, warm, and welcoming; relaxed and aesthetically pleasing."

I did the initial draft with sharpie on acetates, letting the layering handle the blending

It was then mocked up via gouache on acetate

The fluorescent pink really broke the white balance on my camera at the time

I then cleaned it up in lightroom and added the logotype.
