Privacy & Use Policy

Privacy

I know it is annoying to have to give an email to sign up for something. It's purely an anti-spam measure. I don't care if you sign up with a burner email or something you never check. It can be junk. I just don't need my publicly-posted email being scraped.

What Do I Do With Your Information?

Bupkis. I don't do anything with that. I'm not looking at it. It's purely so you can see my email address, which you can then use to buy or commission art.

I do include people who are subscribed to the newsletter (done by being a member, by default, which is a Ghost default) in a maximum-once-monthly news & digest post. You can turn that off by going to the Account Info modal and turning the newsletter to "off".

What About Other, Non-email Information?

I get some aggregated statistics from Ghost (the content management system I made this site in) about the number of members who sign up during a selected timeframe, as well as newsletter open/unsubscribe percentage, and when a post is visited, the number of signups from that post; Ghost the company probably gets better ones, but I have no insight into that.

You may have a way of being invisible to these, and that is totally cool to me. There's nothing that would identify you specifically in what I get unless you're literally the only one ever browsing. I think Ghost's sign-in system uses cookies of some kind; however they aren't necessary to browse the portfolio or the non-members portion of the website.

This site does use javascript to do a couple things that are beyond the right-out-the-box Ghost site behavior; You should still be able to get pretty much everywhere without it though, if that is how you elect to surf the internet.

Do You Share My Information with Anyone Else?

Nope.
