I really love the texture you can get from using acetone on spray paint from shader cans (the translucent cans that Montana / Belton Molotow sell that don't have the opaquing agents in them). That and a hogs hair fan brush - which, admittedly, is a very strange brush to have in the first place - leaves these great brush strokes all over.
