RoCo 6x6 2026
My 6x6s this year are goofy and light hearted (in keeping with my 2024 6x6s) and also a set of sorts (after my 2025 6x6s as well as my 2023 6x6s). These are due on the 4th of April so if you haven't yet, get yours in!
They are the middle evolutions of the Red/Blue starter Pokémon as Freaks & Geeks characters
The fourth one was already posted - it's Own Rochester - for their "use the city logo" theme.
All are aquarelle pencil with ink and ballpoint on cardstock
Scrapped versions of the same concept were
- Machop as Neal / Samm Levine
- Pikachu as Gordon / Jerry Messing
- Oddish as Sam / John Francis Daley
- Pikachu in an oversized coat as Lindsay / Linda Cardellini
- Dugtrio as Ken, Nick, and Kim / Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Busy Philipps
Sometimes I worry the "what if X was Y" thing is lazy. Other times, it's just practice.
