DNE DFX99 Space Station - "Near Mint"
Watercolor and India Ink on Cold Press Paper
6in x 6in
One of my favorite pedal brands was DOD. These were known for being fairly cheap pedals, with lots of problems, and some boundary-pushing and unique circuits, namely the FX32 Meat Box, which sounded terrific on a drum machine; the FX76 Punkifier, which came out about ten years too early for the "post rock distortion" sound it provided; and the DFX delay series, which were 14-bit digital delays that provided a very unique soupy tone. This imagines what if one of those digital delays was a pitch shifter, a thing they did with their Digitech XP-300 Space Station.
Also it is dubious a DOD pedal has ever been "near mint"; none I've owned have ever had all their pointer indexes, nor anything remotely resembling the battery cover. Most were lucky to have the bulk of their knobs.
